The 2nd grade classroom musical, How Does Your Garden Groove, is on Thursday March 26 at 6:00 pm in the EDS gym.
The children were all assigned parts as garden vegetables and will need to come up with a costume to wear. The main idea is KEEP IT SIMPLE AND RECYCLE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
Please know I'm not asking anyone to spend money on an actual store made costume. I
'd love for you to be able to use things you already have at home. Here are some examples:
-Carrots: jeans or orange leggings + orange tshirt + cap or headband with green ribbons
-Tomatoes/red peppers : jeans or red leggings + red top + a small green "stem" on a cap or headband
-Lettuce: jeans or green leggings + green top with green tissue paper taped on + green cap or headband
Again, I ask you to please NOT purchase a store-made costume. We're going for a home made, age-appropriate look. :).
