The 3rd grade classroom musical, It's a Jungle Out There, is on Thursday March 12 at 6:00 pm in the EDS gym.
The children were all assigned parts as animals of the jungle and will need to come up with a costume to wear. The main idea is KEEP IT SIMPLE AND RECYCLE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Please know I'm not asking anyone to spend money on an actual store made costume. I'd love for you to be able to use things you already have at home. Here are some examples:
-LION: jeans or brown pants/leggings + brown tshirt + "fur" attached to a headband or cap.
-ELEPHANT: jeans or grey pants/leggings + grey shirt with a pink patch glued on for the belly + gray & pink ears attached to a headband or cap
-CHEETAH: jeans or brown pants/leggings + brown shirt with tan construction paper circles taped on + browns ears on a cap or headband
Again, I ask you to please NOT purchase a store-made costume. We're going for a home made, age-appropriate look. :).
