Ukulele recommendations

1. Tara Scheyer Kics Ukulele

image1

This is a recycled composite ukulele with a custom Tara Scheyer & the Mud Puppy Band sticker on it.

The composite makes for a very durable uke that stands up to heat/humidity/cold/dampness much better than wooden ukuleles.

The tone is a little thinner than  wooden ukuleles, but still sounds great and resonates well.

$55 (contact Tara Scheyer to purchase)

2. Tara Scheyer Diamond Head Ukulele

This is a beginner wooden ukulele with a custom Tara Scheyer & the Mud Puppy Band sticker on it.

The tone is warm and it stays in tune really well for a beginner instrument.

$40  (contact Tara Scheyer to purchase)

Search "soprano beginner ukulele",  filter with "less expensive to most", and look through all the brand and color options.  Anything in the $25-$50 range will be fine for beginners.

My favorite beginner brand is KALA Dolphins.
